Snowdonia is Surfer Blood's latest album, and first release without, guitarist, Thomas Fekete - who passed away in 2015. The album was released February 3rd, 2017 and follows the grief of losing a beloved band member, coincidentally, it's their cheeriest, and loosest album yet.
Surfer Blood recently premiered a music video for a song on the new album, titled 'Six Flags In F Or G', the video exhibits iconic artwork by Van Gogh, Picasso, Delacroix, and much more. The director, Liam Milano, says: "the video takes a dichotomous approach to the themes of the song. The first half abstractly representing struggle and survival and the second half lightheadedly representing visions and dreams."

Frank Ocean recently debuted a Beats 1 show titled "Blonded RADIO". During the surprise release of the show, he aired excerpts from an interview between himself and Jay-Z. Jay laments the state of modern radio, stating "these are not even based on music." and "a person like Bob Marley right now probably wouldn't play on a pop station. Which is crazy."
You can listen to the interview here. Starting at the 1 hour and 3 minute mark and then the 1 hour and 53 minute mark.
"Blonded RADIO" also featured tracks from Prince, Outcast, Pixies, Sade, Dirty Projectors, Nao, Stevie Wonder, Celine Deon, and of course, Frank, including his new song with Calvin Harris, and Migos. "Slide", "Vegyn", "Roof Access", and "Federico Aliprandi" served as guests on the show,
It is still unclear if the radio show is a one time event, or a reoccurring event.
